Spend the day relaxing on our beach or lounge in style, in our members-only reserved cabanas. With full food and beverage service (in season), we’ve got you covered for maximum recharging. Our pool is heated to 81° year-round so you can swim in comfort, anytime.

As a Kona Kai Club member, you’ll enjoy unlimited complimentary fitness classes with certified trainers and instructors. We offer over 20 classes per week at convenient times to accommodate all schedules and fitness levels.

Nightly Bonfires
Gather around the fire with family, friends, and fellow resorts guests to make s’mores and share memories both old and new. Enjoy a crackling fire on the resort’s private beach, surrounded by views of moonlit Point Loma, the Kona Kai Marina, and the most picturesque sunsets in Southern California.
S’mores Kits are available for purchase throughout the resort.
Beach Cruisers
Our beach cruisers give resort guests a street-level experience of local San Diego flavor. Explore Shelter Island and the surrounding San Diego Bay with a complimentary rental hour and embrace some of the most bike-friendly parts of the city. Helmets and locks are provided with each bike.
Friday Night Flix
Bring the whole family and join us at the Tiki pool monthly (in season) for our family-friendly Friday Night flicks. Fresh popcorn and juice are provided.
